Coloured Reverse Designs
Each coin’s coloured reverse charts Ned Kelly’s days as the leader of an outlaw gang who commanded thousands of pounds in rewards. Including designs depicting Ned’s iconic suite of armour and the Kelly Gang’s last stand at Glenrowan, it also marks his demise on the end of the hangman’s rope at Melbourne Gaol 130 years ago in 1880.
Issued as Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, each coin portrays the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Limited Mintage
Just 1,880 of the coins sets will be released.
Timber Presentation Case
Each set is housed in a plush timber presentation case accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a poster of Ned Kelly who was just 25 when he was put to death.
